Whether your eyes are almond-shaped, round, drooping, or close together, all eye shapes can be made up and highlighted. You just need the right tips!
First, how do you recognize that you have this type of eye?
We know that we have a drooping eye when the outer corner seems to be going down, which makes it look a little sad. The makeup technique to correct it then consists of raising the eye in the opposite direction and making pretty almonds. Be careful not to confuse it with the falling eyelid, which is due to age and not to the shape of the eye.
Before starting makeup advice, here is a tip that will already make a small difference: eyebrows!
Framing the face and especially the eyes, they play a major role in the aesthetics of the face. They must not, then, accentuate the movement to be corrected, but rather attenuate it. If your eyebrows are low and the tip goes down, it will amplify this drooping effect.
Other tips: dark circles!
If you have dark circles, bags, or shadow areas under your eyes, it is essential to camouflage them either with an illuminating concealer or with concealer. Thus, we remove all that gives this falling and dark effect. Now only the eye remains.
Do not worry, you are not the only ones with drooping eyes, and above all do not mope because there are always solutions. And it’s not Britney Spears, Anne Hathaway or Camilla Belle, who will say the opposite.
Choose the right colors
Above all, you need colors suitable for falling eyes and not too dark colors so as not to weigh them down.
Prefer pale pink, champagne, iridescent beige or all pastel colors to apply as a base on the entire eyelid. And for the corner of the eye, we opt for a darker shade, but again, neither black nor opaque gray, these colors are the enemies of drooping eyes. Opt for plum, dark beige, or brown to spread from the inner corner of the eye to the outer corner. You have to make a sort of gradient color to enlarge the look. A kind of smokey, but with light colors. Finally, apply white eyeshadow on your mobile eyelids and under the arch of the eyebrows.
Always try to end your gestures with upward movements. Finish by applying a very dark mascara only on the upper lashes. Do not put makeup on the eyelashes at the bottom or bottom of the eye as this amplifies the drooping effect. Just put concealer on this part.
